Terms & Conditions

By purchasing from The Hearthstone Collective, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Digital Delivery Only

All Hearthstone Collective plans are sold and delivered digitally. Printed hard copies are not available directly from Hearthstone Collective.

Following purchase, each order undergoes an internal quality-control review prior to release. Please allow approximately 3–4 weeks for delivery of your digital plan package.

License to Build

Your purchase grants you a limited, non-transferable license to construct one (1) single residence from the purchased plan.

The purchase of a plan does not transfer ownership of the design or copyright. All plans, drawings, renderings, and associated materials remain the intellectual property of Hearthstone Collective and/or its designers.

Unless expressly authorized in writing by Hearthstone Collective:

  • Plans may not be reused for additional homes 

  • Plans may not be transferred, assigned, or resold 

  • Plans may not be shared with third parties beyond those directly involved in the construction of the licensed home 

  • Plans may not be uploaded online, posted publicly, distributed digitally, or reproduced in any format 

  • Plans may not be copied, scanned, modified for resale, or used to create derivative stock plans 

Additional build licenses may be available upon request.

Included/Excluded Documents

Plan packages are intended to provide architectural design drawings suitable for residential construction, but certain items are not included unless specifically noted.

Standard plan packages do NOT include:

  • Site plans 

  • Framing plans 

  • Structural engineering 

  • HVAC plans 

  • Mechanical, electrical, or plumbing engineering 

  • Civil engineering 

  • Survey work 

  • Energy calculations 

  • Permit procurement 

Local jurisdictions, builders, engineers, or consultants may require additional drawings, revisions, or documentation to comply with local codes, site conditions, or permitting requirements.

Builder & Owner Responsibility

It is the responsibility of the purchaser, builder, contractor, and all consultants involved in the project to verify dimensions, field conditions, engineering requirements, material selections, and compliance with all applicable local building codes and regulations prior to construction.

Hearthstone Collective is not responsible for construction methods, material availability, estimating errors, site-specific conditions, engineering requirements, or deviations made during construction.

Modifications

Any modifications made to Hearthstone Collective plans by the purchaser, builder, architect, engineer, draftsperson, or other third party are undertaken at their own risk and responsibility.

Hearthstone Collective assumes no liability for modified plans or resulting construction.

Renderings & Marketing Materials

Renderings, photographs, and marketing illustrations are artistic representations intended to convey design intent. Images may depict optional features, upgraded finishes, furnishings, landscaping, or modifications not included within the standard construction documents.

All Sales Final

Due to the digital nature of the products being sold, all sales are final.

No refunds, exchanges, returns, or cancellations will be provided after purchase.

In no event shall Hearthstone Collective, its owners, designers, consultants, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of the plans or related materials.

The purchaser’s sole remedy for any claim related to the purchase or use of a plan shall be limited to the original purchase price paid for the plan.

Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders

Limitation of Liability

Hearthstone Collective reserves the right to refuse, delay, or cancel any order at its sole discretion prior to delivery of the plan package.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina.

Governing Law

All plans, drawings, renderings, graphics, and related materials are protected under United States copyright law.

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or construction beyond the licensed use is strictly prohibited.
